Hello Helmut,
I had to suspend selling business (wasn’t profitable recently), but you can still get components from your local distributor or at www.tme.eu. If you need any pcb, please let me know, because I order them for myself from time to time, so can order a few pieces more for you.
Thankyou for the answer,
you have no PCB, you must order the PCB first?
I'm searching for
OPEN COLLECTOR OUTPUTS
14 CHANNEL BACK BOX BUTTON
If it takes longer, then I give up HapCan and rely on another system.
Unfortunately, maybe someone wants to buy my PIC UNIV 3?
I hope the forum will still be alive still a long time Jacek, even if you are not able to provide products.
Helmut, on my side, I have still more than 10 pic controller in stock, even blank ones purchased from TME,
I'm not sure I will need more pieces in the near future.
However, I have developed a few PCBs, and maybe I could provide some if needed, I wanted to published the projects on Github but have not yet got time enough, maybe at the end of year.
the PCBs are for the moment:
- a 70x43mm board designed to fit several Vimar IP65 cases, but can be used in any other case, manages 6 buttons and 6 leds (through uln2003 driver) + temp sensor and several other i2c devices but for the moment the firmware of these i2c is not developed.
- a 58x28 mm connection board with 3x5 ways phoenix contact spring connectors to allow dropping down devices on CAN bus
- a 86.5x50 mm relay board, compatible with the univ 3.2.5, with 6 leds reporting relay states, and can accept slim mechanical or Solid state relays (finder, omron, celduc)
and under development:
- a 52x40mm board for 4 buttons + 4 leds outputs, to fit into wall mounting boxes. more buttons can be added by connecting boards in series throught a bus extension 5 ways connector.
If you are interested, I can send more information, including schematics. My intent is not to sell stuff, but I can provide help and PCB's to people who have the ability to fit boards and programs the cpus. Firmwares has been ported, using MPLAB XIDE V5.45.
for information, I'm developing an Android application which will be able to manage my installation (I have installed hapcan devices in a building for lighting) using a small Wifi to CAN interface from MeatPi.
I'm retired from an access control management products development company, and have some knowledge about this too.
I hope it will run before the end of year.
regards,
Jean-Luc
Hi Jacek,
ok thank you for this.
I'll try to get more time to post my works.
I have registerd at Github, but the site is a bit complicated, not easy to find things...
regards
Hi Jean-Luc, Helmut,
I'm myself still very much busy with Hapcan so
- Curious about your developments JL. Is the github already set up and can you share some info? I2C with LCD, ethernet is a big challenge for me ?
- some UNIV3 components you can deliver to me.
Off course, recently I opted for the DIP version PIC18F26K80 as I'm still busy combining different setups and then it's easier to test on a board or the explorer8 I have and then the next PCBs should be foreseen for this too. I'm also thinking about the PIC18F26Q83 more for the future as it allows for peripheral pin select which would allow a smaller footprint in some cases. Anyways, I'll post a seperate topic with my projects
